On sunday the 4th of October, a group of 12 people of the mercy ministry Team of Savior Church Hazmieh went to visit an elderly house at Mansourieh. there was about 17 elders both men and women, they were so happy to see us and share time with us. we worshiped and praised the Lord together, we told them about our God's love to them and we shared Jesus with them.
the visit was also beneficial to us as well, and we learned from them more than they learned from us, these people were left without family or children or anyone to take care of them and yet they were smiling, happy, they had hope in God, they had love toward each other, and this teaches us a lesson that sometimes we have everything in life yet we are complaining and negatif and hopeless, while others who have nothing are rejoicing and positive and having hope.
after worshiping with them and sharing God's message and love, we prayed the prayer of salvation together and we disributed Bibles and christian books to everyone of them, in addition to the gifts and provisions of food and sanitary that we had for them.
the visit was joyful and everyone of us enjoyed sharing God's love with others,
Finally i would like to repeat what the apostle Paul said in Book of Acts 20: 35

"I have shown you all things, how that so labouring you ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive." it is a blessing to be able to support the weak and i would like to encourage eveyone to participate in this act of love.
